Job Title: Project Coordinator, FinanceJob Description

In this role, you will support key Finance projects and play a critical part in assisting with the coordination of all project aspects, including developing work plans, tracking task status, and summarizing project progress. Your contribution will be essential in preparing dashboards for portfolio, program, and project updates. You will help drive high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds business expectations, working collaboratively with global teams.

Responsibilities


+ Perform project support and completion using an internal customer perspective from initiation through delivery utilizing established toolkit and processes developed in Smartsheet.


+ Coordinate and support cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activities to complete projects on time and within budget.


+ Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships.


+ Maintain enthusiasm, energy, and focus in various circumstances.


+ Support and participate in the development of project plan templates for workstreams, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and change impacts.


+ Support and develop project management governance, processes, and toolkit using Smartsheet.


+ Contribute to and review key workstream template deliverables.


+ Advise workstream leads and other leaders on project implementation priorities using templates created in Smartsheet.


+ Participate in all project management meetings and adhere to approved processes for the Finance PMO.


+ Facilitate and document lessons learned and best practices throughout project stages.


Essential Skills


+ Minimum of 2 years of related experience.


+ Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Smartsheet.


+ Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.


+ Strong project management and finance domain knowledge.


+ Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Additional Skills & Qualifications


+ Experience in managing finance domain projects.


+ Understanding of Agile PM practices.


+ Experience in developing project plans/schedules and tracking milestone completion.


+ Ability to identify critical paths, surface roadblocks, and find solutions.


+ Experience supporting Business Owners for business prioritization and collaboration.


+ Ability to manage risks and propose corrective actions.


+ Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication.


+ Experience in supporting program alignment with other company initiatives.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid remote/onsite role based in San Diego, with occasional travel to domestic and international offices. The role requires flexibility to meet with global teams across different time zones.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
