These programs, which provide as many as three meals a day plus snacks are an essential tool in reducing statewide food insecurity. They help ensure that students have access to nutritious school meals which reduces the burden on the charitable food sector, allowing them to focus outreach and support on families with no school-aged children.
Position Summary The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing community-based engagement activities, including scheduling and facilitating listening sessions, disseminating QR codes, identifying locations for NourishLink kiosk, and developing culturally responsive, multi-lingual outreach materials. This coordinator will serve as the primary liaison for community events and navigation support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a calendar of community outreach, engagement and educational activities
Conduct participant screenings and provide information, referrals, and navigation assistance
Collaborate with program staff regarding community events, resource events, fairs and public forums
Track outreach activities, community feedback, participation metrics and engagement outcomes; prepare reports and recommendations for program staff
Assist with program operations related to community engagement initiatives including logistics, promotional materials, scheduling and event coordination
Review outreach strategies and recommend improvements based on community feedback, participation trends, and program goals
Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Work Experience and/or Skills Requirements
Minimum Associate degree or equivalent required
Effectively engages diverse client populations
Uphold ethical standards in accordance with agency policy and practices
Ability to provide culturally competent service delivery with cultural humility
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the Project Coordinator is occasionally required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
The individual must occasionally move about to accomplish tasks, adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
Ability to drive a vehicle
Additional Information
Pay Rate: 19.31 per hour
Work schedule: 8 hours per week
