Project Coordinator – HR Records & Data Management

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Compensation: $40–$47/hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract

A large enterprise organization is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a high-profile records and data management initiative within Human Resources. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale projects, cross-functional teams, and enterprise document management processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with large volumes of information, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, stage, and prepare large volumes of digital records for future automation and migration into enterprise document management systems.
  • Review and structure files and folders to ensure consistency with established formatting and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and records management professionals to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to business partners throughout the records preparation process.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and Tier 1 support for records that are not successfully processed or ingested.
  • Support ad hoc requests and project activities related to records organization and data preparation.
  • Track progress, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination, Business Execution, Operations, Implementation, Records Management, Administrative Support, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing large volumes of electronic files and data.
  • Comfortable working with shared drives, document repositories, and file management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Records Management or Records Coordination experience is highly preferred.
