JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator I
LOCATION: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
PAY RANGE: $31/hr.
DURATION: 2 Years


Job Overview:
Level I: 0-2 Years of Experience. Provides project manager support and assistance in scheduling meetings, documentation, updating project documents, communication and training. Updates the project plan. Assists in information collection and validation. Helps prepare status reports and presentations. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must have strong knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.

Job Description :
  • Coordinates a range of administrative activities, ensuring efficient office operations; assists in the preparation and distribution of office communications.
  • Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail; ensures outgoing mail and packages are prepared and dispatched correctly.
  • Coordinates the receipt, storage, and issuance of stationery and office supplies; conducts periodic inventories and reorders items as required.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for facilities-related issues; logs maintenance, cleaning, and office services requests and follows up on completion.
  • Organizes special mailings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution; maintains and updates mailing lists regularly.
  • Observes office production processes and suggests improvements to enhance workflow.
  • Frequent, independent driving to meetings, company locations, and/or field locations while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws is essential to this position and cannot reasonably be accomplished via alternative transportation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
  • Administrative Support - Assisting the department in fulfilling its administrative responsibilities.
  • Data Entry - The process of entering data into a computerized database or spreadsheet.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation - Creating, distributing, using, maintaining, and disposing of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
  • Call Management - The processes and systems businesses and organizations use to handle incoming calls.
  • Word Processing - The process of creating and editing documents on a computer.
  • Schedule Management - Establishes policies and documentation for maintaining, developing, managing, and controlling the schedules for time and resources for the completion of the project.
  • Report Drafting - Creating and writing various types of documents, such as policies, reports, manuals, and memos, organizing and presenting information clearly and concisely, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Event Planning - The organization of all of the activities that surround an event.
  • Research - Investigates and studies materials and sources to establish facts and reach new conclusions.
Education:
  • High school diploma required.
