The Project Coordinator provides administrative and academic assistance to the Director, senior fellows, collegiate fellows, and students. The Project Coordinator supports the programs already established by IPR, and assists the Director and fellows in developing new programs and events.
The projected salary range for this position, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation
is: $50,000 to $55,000.
Responsibilities:As the institute’s Project Coordinator, assist with a wide variety of administrative support tasks for IPR staff, fellows, and students.
As the institute’s Project Coordinator, work closely with the Director to provide administrative and event planning support.
As the institute’s Project Coordinator, process expenses, contracts, paperwork, stipends, and reimbursements for the IPR director, fellows, and students.
Under the guidance of the Director, plan regular seminar series and colloquia for IPR fellows, coordinating with faculty at CUA and beyond to facilitate student intellectual development
Under the guidance of the Director, plan events and oversee student and faculty activities.
Assist students in connecting them with internships, fellowships, jobs, conference opportunities, and publication opportunities to advance their careers.
Foster undergraduate students, graduate students, and fellows' publications on the IPR website and promotion of student work.
Manage content on the IPR website, social media posts, email campaigns, and other outreach methods used by IPR.
Work on IPR summer programming and summer activities in coordination with the IPR Director and the University’s Summer Sessions office.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with Related administrative, communications, teaching, and/or events experience is preferred.
Proficiency with Google Docs, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF Editor, and Canva.
