Overview:

BerryDunn is seeking a Project Coordinator (PC) who will play a key role in supporting a State Health and Human Services (HHS) agency with administrative, coordination, and logistical support across multiple workstreams, including project planning, organizational change management (OCM), training, business process redesign (BPR), Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) modernization, audit support, and vendor/contract management activities.

 

The PC will work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and vendor partners to help ensure smooth operations, timely communication, and high-quality project documentation. This role is essential to maintaining momentum across a complex, multi-vendor environment and supporting the successful delivery of project goals.

 

This position offers flexibility for fully onsight or hybrid arrangements. The required location is Kapolei, Hawai'i.

You Will:
  • Gain an understanding of project management by helping to coordinate project activities such as developing and maintaining schedules, coordinating and participating in meetings, tracking and maintaining project information such as action items and issues, and developing client deliverables such as presentations and consulting reports.
  • Outreach to team members seeking status updates and documents in the appropriate location
  • Create PowerPoint slides, status reports, and other documentation from input received from the project teams
  • Schedule meetings in Outlook and manage correspondence from meeting invitees and participants
  • Create agendas for engagement-level meetings and distribute them to meeting invitees in advance
  • Take meeting notes for engagement-level meetings, submit notes for review to the team, make necessary corrections, and post finalized notes in the appropriate location
  • Partner with more experienced consultants to build relationships with project team members, including client contacts, stakeholders, and vendor contacts.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required; ability to communicate courteously, articulately, and professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Excellent time management skills, customer service and organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and support multiple team members
You Have:
  • Experience supporting government, healthcare, or Medicaid-related initiatives
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, SDLC concepts)
  • Experience coordinating with multi-vendor or multi-agency environments
  • Background supporting OCM, training, policy, or business process redesign activities
Compensation Details:

The base salary range targeted for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for ths posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The slaray of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
