Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support data center infrastructure projects. This role combines onsite administrative and inventory coordination duties with onsite responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project coordination, project management, or construction management and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

 
Work Arrangement

•        Onsite:  Construction site conditions, based out of a work trailer

•        Travel:  Local travel required to inspect deliveries at area warehouses and project sites

•        Schedule:  Full-time; standard business hours with flexibility as project needs dictate

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Administration

•        Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources across multiple stakeholders

•        Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; escalate risks and issues as appropriate

•        Maintain project documentation including JHAs, inspection reports, commissioning documents, schedules, meeting minutes, action item logs, and status reports

•        Update project commissioning software (upload documents and update status)

•        Support project managers with scope, schedule, and budget tracking

•        Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients

Delivery Inspection & Material Management

•        Travel to local warehouses to inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage

•        Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and project specifications

•        Document and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the project team

•        Coordinate with logistics and warehouse personnel to resolve delivery issues

•        Maintain delivery tracking logs and ensure materials are accounted for and properly staged

Reporting & Communication

•        Prepare and distribute regular project status updates to stakeholders

•        Maintain organized project files in SharePoint and other company systems

•        Support scheduling and coordination of project meetings

•        Assist with vendor and subcontractor communication and follow-up

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

•        Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or construction management

•        Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

•        Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

•        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)

•        Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel

•        Ability to perform physical inspections of delivered materials (standing, walking, occasional lifting)

•        Strong written and verbal communication skills

 
Preferred Qualifications

•        Experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing) construction environments

•        Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, CX Alloy, Procore, BIM360)

•        CAPM, PMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred

•        Experience with material/logistics coordination or supply chain processes

•        Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and submittals

 
Physical Requirements

•        Ability to travel locally to warehouses and project site locations

•        Ability to stand, walk, and inspect materials for extended periods

•        Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
