THE ROLE: PROJECT COORDINATOR, MARKETING
The Project Coordinator, Marketing brings a positive, engaging presence and enjoys working cross-functionally to support teams, build connections, and contribute to a strong company culture. They support the execution of key initiatives across product commercialization, brand communications, and corporate communications by coordinating project plans, timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables to keep projects organized, aligned, and on track.
Serving as a central point of coordination across Brand Marketing, Innovation, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Creative, and external agency partners, this role facilitates communication, tracks progress, and helps identify and escalate risks that may impact timelines, resources, or project objectives.
Working closely with functional teams and leadership, the Project Coordinator supports multiple concurrent workstreams, including label development, innovation launches, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives. They also contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen collaboration, and improve visibility across teams.
Given the breadth of responsibilities, this role requires a highly curious and proactive mindset. The ideal candidate is continually seeking new ways to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and elevate the quality of work through technology and innovation, including leveraging AI-powered tools and emerging capabilities to enhance project execution, communication, collaboration, and overall team effectiveness.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Project Coordinator supports cross-functional alignment and the successful delivery of commercialization, communications, and employee experience initiatives across the organization.
Artwork Development & Commercialization Coordination (40%)
This individual owns the end-to-end label development and routing process, ensuring projects move efficiently from brief through final approval while maintaining compliance and launch readiness.
Corporate Communications & Employee Experience (40%)
This individual serves as project coordinator for the company's core internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with the SmartyPants brand.
Brand Communications Commercialization Support (20%)
This individual owns the project coordination processes that connect Brand Innovation and Brand Communications teams to deliver successful product launches.

The pay range for this position is $68,000-80,000. For this remote role, compensation is determined based on geographic location and experience, and the final offer will reflect these factors within the posted range.
