Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Lake County, IL

Salary Range: $30-$35

 

Introduction

This role is responsible for the financial aspects of IT projects supporting the R&D function in the biopharmaceutical industry. The position requires a combination of financial expertise, analytical skills, project management skills, and effective communication through oversight of multiple projects across the entire project management lifecycle from initiation to closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5 years of work experience managing projects with an emphasis on cost management
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, SRM, PowerBI and Clarity PPM

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Monitor IT operating and capital expenditure on a regular cadence to ensure adherence to the allocated budget
  • Complete month-end close processes, such as analyzing and reporting on budget utilization
  • Support Portfolio managers in generating regular reports and dashboards to communicate portfolio health
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and monitor project cost plans
  • Develop and update comprehensive financial forecasts based on project progress and changes in scope
  • Coordinate the renewal of IT licenses, subscriptions, and contracts
  • Maintain statements of work (SOW) and purchase orders (PO) to track vendor commitments
  • Partner with Project and Portfolio managers to ensure adherence to financial policies and standards
  • Provide feedback on opportunities for process improvement and/or leveraging technology to automate tasks
