PROJECT COORDINATOR

Steel manufacturing company is looking for a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager who wants to learn and grow into a Project Manager role eventually. Pay rate depends on experience.

Responsibilities:
This position will work directly with customers and coordinate projects from drawings through production.
Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating revisions with detailers/engineers.
Communicating with customers, purchasing materials, tracking orders, and coordinating with our fabrication team.
Acts as the core administrative and communication link between customers, structural engineers, internal drafting/detailing departments, and the fabrication shop.
Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) between the customer/contractor, structural engineers, and the internal detailing team.
Monitor daily progress in the shop to ensure orders move efficiently from steel supply and detailing to fabrication and load-out.
