Job Description:

Project Coordinator - Project Coordinator III

Location: New York, New York (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role where you will operate humanoid robots in R&D environments. You will follow structured procedures to collect high-quality data, support robot sessions, monitor performance, and maintain safety. Your work will directly contribute to training AI models and influencing how robots function in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate humanoid robots following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Use a Virtual Reality headset while performing designated movements and actions.
  • Support active robot sessions, including creating environments and feasibility testing.
  • Annotate collected episodes with metadata.
  • Monitor robot performance and report bugs with logs, timestamps, and video.
  • Provide feedback on equipment performance.
  • Communicate and interface with researchers and leadership.
  • Coordinate the entire lifecycle of member projects.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure a quality product is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Meet all performance and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree.

Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience and experience working with high-volume processes.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable working on feet and in VR environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Able to lift up to 10 lbs and wear various types of equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Continuous hand/eye coordination, body coordination, and kinesthetic awareness.

Other Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00/hour to $38.00/hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
