Project Coordinator Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of large-scale delivery projects. This role is responsible for coordinating daily project activities, maintaining documentation, supporting operational processes, and ensuring alignment across internal teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys improving processes, and can effectively support both technical and operational teams to keep projects on track.
Position Details
  • Hourly contract opportunity based on experience and skill level
  • Long-term contract with potential for extension or conversion
  • Current project expected to run through December 2026
  • Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, typically between 7: 00 AM –5: 00 PM
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required
  • Fully onsite role located in the New Albany, OH area
Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution
  • Support project execution by coordinating tasks, schedules, deliverables, and team activities
  • Follow established PMO standards, project methodologies, and documentation processes
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and version control within centralized systems
  • Track project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and communicate updates to project leadership
  • Assist with onboarding activities, time tracking, payroll coordination, and administrative support
  • Coordinate ordering of project materials, supplies, and rental equipment
  • Support requirements gathering, testing coordination, and other project-related activities as needed
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
  • Serve as a key point of contact for communication between project teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Gather, organize, and validate project information to ensure teams have accurate and up-to-date data
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across operations, project teams, and leadership
Reporting & Operational Support
  • Analyze project-related data including schedules, budgets, resource utilization, and delivery metrics
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc status reports for leadership and project teams
  • Maintain and distribute project materials including status updates, requirements, policies, and vendor documentation
  • Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and change management documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow optimization, and enhanced project quality
  • Support smooth coordination between project execution and operational activities

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred;equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of project coordination experience, preferably within technology, infrastructure, or professional services environments
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, standards, and documentation practices
  • Experience supporting project schedules, reporting, and operational coordination activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, MS Project, ServiceNow, Salesforce, ERP systems, PPM tools, and other cloud-based platforms preferred
