The Project Designer II supports project teams by developing architectural drawings from schematic design through full construction documents. Working under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, this role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Organize, set up, and develop architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of deliverables.
Coordinate and communicate with clients and consultants as required.
Attend project meetings, document meeting outcomes, and assist with construction administration activities.
Assist with the preparation of graphic and presentation materials.
Support and, when assigned, oversee Interns assisting with project drawings.
Adhere to standards, including drafting and graphic standards, folder organization, and file naming conventions.
Move efficiently through multiple projects and tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Graduate of an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program meeting NCARB licensing criteria.
3–6 years of professional experience in commercial, residential, or senior living architecture.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of building systems, construction assembly types, and architectural materials and products.
Working knowledge of accessibility standards, building codes, green building criteria, and CSI formats.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated problem solver with strong listening, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work quickly, thoroughly, and collaboratively within a team environment.
Interest in developing construction administration experience.
