**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.** **About the Role:** As a CBRE Project Designer, youwill provide clear, accurate, and concise design documentation forinstallation of Building Management Control Systems, typically focused on HVACcontrols, based on project specifications, mechanical drawings, and/or salesdocumentation. **What You'll Do:** + Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, materiallists, sequence of operations, panel layouts, termination details and equipmentschedules. + Create cable pull drawings. + Create submittals and O&M manuals. + Perform basic electrical calculations to ensuresystem operation and safety. + Perform sizing calculations for control valvesand dampers. + Select components based on availability, projectestimate, job requirements, regulatory compliance and engineering standards. + Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. + Work within standardized procedures andpractices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. **What You'll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade schooldiploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. + Associate's Degree in Mechanical DesignTechnology or related field. Bachelor's Degree in HVAC/R or related fieldpreferred. + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpretdocuments. + Ability to solve problems involving severaloptions in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitativeskills. + Ability to read and understand HVAC/R andprocess mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. + Excellent written and verbal communicationskills. + Organizational skills with a strong inquisitivemindset. + Knowledge of general computer applications.Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Applications, Google Drive, Email, Team,Bluebeam experience is a plus. **Preferred:** + Well versed with HVAC application engineering,design, sequences of operation for electrical circuits and schematics. Musthave working knowledge of standard trade industry practices. + Knowledge of computer drafting applications witha thorough understanding of basic drawing, CAD layout and concepts. MicrosoftVisio and/or AutoCAD-LT (2D drawings) experience is a plus. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $75,000 annually.
