Remodel Project Developer

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Updated March 30, 2026 – refreshed and clarified job description.

About the Opportunity

We are a growing residential remodeling and home services organization focused on delivering high-quality kitchen and bathroom remodels through strong systems, clear communication, and accountable leadership. Our success is driven by people who take ownership, build structure, and follow projects through from vision to completion.

We are seeking a Remodel Project Developer to lead sales, project development, and execution for remodel projects from the initial customer meeting through final closeout. This role is responsible for both revenue generation and operational performance, ensuring that each project meets financial goals, operational standards, and customer expectations.

This is an ideal opportunity for a self-directed, analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, sees inefficiencies before others do, and enjoys building systems that scale.

What You’ll Do

As a Remodel Project Developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of remodel projects—owning the customer relationship, sales process, project execution, and financial outcomes.

Sales & Revenue Accountability

  • Serve as a primary sales driver for remodel and installation projects

  • Conduct initial customer consultations, identify needs, and develop project solutions

  • Prepare, present, and close estimates, proposals, and project scopes

  • Take ownership of revenue generated and individual sales performance

  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

Customer Ownership & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers from the initial meeting through the final walkthrough

  • Manage client expectations throughout design, pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases

  • Conduct final project walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Ensure timely collection of payments in alignment with project milestones and company policies

Project Oversight & Execution

  • Own remodel projects through pre-design, estimating, pre-construction, execution, and closeout

  • Ensure scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed

  • Coordinate design, estimating, project management, subcontractors, and field operations

  • Maintain organized schedules for yourself and supporting team members

Department Leadership & Coordination

  • Provide structure, direction, and accountability across remodel-related functions

  • Work closely with project coordination and support teams to maintain workflow continuity

  • Oversee technician productivity and ensure consistent, billable workweeks

Scheduling, Productivity & Financial Accountability

  • Manage labor utilization to support consistent 40-hour productive workweeks

  • Monitor job performance, margins, labor efficiency, and overall project profitability

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process and system improvements

  • Make calculated operational decisions aligned with company objectives

Cross-Department Collaboration & Systems

  • Collaborate with Call Center, Dispatch, and Inventory teams to ensure alignment of labor, materials, and scheduling

  • Ensure inventory readiness and logistical coordination for active projects

  • Develop, refine, and document systems, policies, and procedures to support department scalability

  • Maintain accurate records related to sales, project progress, and financial outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred

  • 2+ years of construction or remodeling-related experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of the residential remodeling process and construction sequencing

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven

  • Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills

  • Self-directed leader comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes

  • Valid driver’s license

Key Traits for Success

  • Accountability and ownership

  • Strong communication and follow-through

  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement

  • Ability to manage multiple projects calmly and effectively

  • High ethical standards and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base pay with bonus/commission opportunities

  • Bonus pay tied to performance and results

  • Health insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Paid time off

  • Employee discounts

  • Hands-on training and development to support long-term growth

Schedule

  • Full-time

  • Monday through Friday

  • Extended/10-hour shifts may apply based on business needs
