Project Developer - Solar and BESS

We have exclusively partnered with a Development firm based in Dallas who are looking to add a Project Developer to their team.

They Develop data center, utility-scale solar, storage & wind projects across ERCOT & MISO (South). Due to ongoing growth, they are creating a completely new role for an additional Developer to join.

Client Details

An incredibly well-backed Development firm that is in their fourth year of operations are looking to appoint an experienced Developer.

With a highly experienced team of professionals that have worked at some of the most notable IPPs + Development firms in the industry, you will have the chance to take the lead on your projects and receive excellent mentorship from the team throughout the process.

To date, they have Developed data center, solar, storage and wind projects across both ERCOT & MISO.

Description

The Project Developer - Solar and BESS will:

• Effectively work with the existing Development team on Utility-scale projects
• This role will focus on utility-scale Solar and BESS projects
• Manage a DSA for 3 utility-scale projects (all in ERCOT)
• Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
• Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses
• Liaise directly with the client on the progress of the 3 utility-scale projects as they mature through their life cycle

Profile

The Project Developer - Solar and BESS will have:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field is desirable
• 3-6 years experience within the renewable industry, ideally in Project Development
• Ideally has exposure to utility-scale solar or storage projects
• Must have experience in overseeing a DSA for a utility-scale project
• Based anywhere in Texas

Job Offer

The Project Developer - Solar and BESS will receive:

• $120,000 - $160,000 base salary
• Annual bonus
