The Project Director provides executive leadership for a portfolio of projects or a large, complex program, with overall responsibility for commercial performance, client relationships, and successful project delivery. This role oversees Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, driving program profitability, execution, risk management, and client satisfaction while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Project Managers and oversee program execution, financial performance, and delivery.
• Own program P&L, forecasting, cash flow, and commercial strategy, including change management and claims.
• Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, owners, and EPC partners.
• Monitor project schedules, risk, quality, and compliance with company project management standards.
• Review program performance, develop recovery plans, and proactively resolve issues.
• Mentor, develop, and manage Project Managers and project teams.
• Partner with Business Development to support client relationships and future opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field and 12+ years of progressive project management experience or 15+ years of equivalent project leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading large construction programs or portfolios with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, CPM scheduling, forecasting, cost management, change orders, and claims.
• Experience managing client relationships with owners, EPC contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience developing and managing project teams.
• Preferred: PMP certification and experience in electrical, E&I, industrial construction, data centers, renewables, semiconductor, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
