A Day in the Life of a Roofing Project DirectorAs a Project Director, you'll oversee roofing projects from initial planning through successful completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Your day may include coordinating with customers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving forward. You'll develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources while monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also visit job sites, communicate project updates, review performance, and ensure work is completed according to customer expectations, contract requirements, and applicable safety and quality standards.In this role, you'll provide leadership and direction across multiple roofing projects while keeping a close eye on scope, costs, timelines, and overall project performance. You'll work proactively to identify potential issues, develop solutions, and keep customers and project teams informed every step of the way.
