About the Role: One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Automations to join our growing team in Jonesboro, AR. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge automation solutions that make a real impact for our clients. This position will be primarily dedicated to one customer so this person will build a working relationship with a local customer, but be employeed by One Shot Automation
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications
Manage automation projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation hardware/software
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites
Develop technical documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals
Provide ongoing technical support and identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) strongly preferred
Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, motion control, or process control systems
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to travel to client sites locally and regionally as needed
