The City of Bend is accepting applications for one (1) regular, full-time Project Engineer in the Engineering Division of the Transportation and Mobility Department. A Project Engineer in the Transportation & Mobility Department steps into a role where technical expertise meets city-shaping impact. This position drives the review of internally generated transportation plans, ensuring designs are safe, efficient, and aligned with long-term mobility and maintenance goals. As a leader of our Bike Programs, you'll guide initiatives that expand and enhance the cycling network-coordinating infrastructure improvements, supporting community engagement, and championing multimodal transportation options that make biking safer and more accessible.
Beyond these specialty areas, the role includes hands-on project management responsibilities. You'll shepherd projects from concept through delivery, coordinating schedules, budgets, and stakeholders to keep everything moving smoothly. Group Long-term Disability Insurance: Benefit-eligible employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for a a benefit of up to 66.67% of employee's covered earnings to a maximum of $9,000 per month.
