The Project Engineer supports major construction projects onsite in Boise, Idaho, with a strong focus on plumbing and mechanical scopes. This role provides comprehensive project management support to Project Managers through effective communication, scheduling, cost tracking, document control, and forecasting of labor and material costs. The Project Engineer collaborates closely with superintendents, foremen, engineers, detailers, and leadership to deliver high-quality, profitable projects while maintaining strict safety and contractual compliance on a complex industrial jobsite.
ResponsibilitiesThis role is based onsite at a chip manufacturing plant in Boise, Idaho, where the majority of work involves plumbing and mechanical scopes within an industrial facility. The Project Engineer works closely with field supervision, craft labor, and project management teams in a dynamic jobsite environment that combines office-based coordination with regular field presence. The workplace emphasizes safety, collaboration, and open communication, with a culture that values integrity, respect, and teamwork. The organization has a long-standing presence in the mechanical contracting space and fosters a close-knit environment where employees know and work with a large portion of the organization.
