Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues Manage document control for the pre-construction phases of a project. Help prepare estimates with the proper level of detail for all design stages: Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents Prepares quantity take-offs and estimates costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to fulfill all provisions of the contract. Analyze construction documents and specifications to determine estimated costs. Identify conflicts in construction documents and specifications and effectively communicates those to the Pre-construction team. Review design documents for proper information to receive accurate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Contact and follow up with subcontractors for all budgeting and bid efforts to establish participation. Review all bid packages, instructions to bidders, and bid forms against all subcontractor proposals to ensure compliant and complete bidsQualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science/Management, Civil or Architectural Engineering or 3 or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with Destini Estimator, Procore, Join.Build, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft applications, iSqFt/Construct Connect Ability to effectively communicate in written/verbal form as it relates to technical information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and vendors. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Maintains a strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude.
