As a Calibration Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for conducting Bench/Vehicle Evaluations and Software Calibration of Powertrain and Thermal Systems, such as: Transmission System, Electrical Motor Inverter, Battery, Energy Management, Thermal Management System and Cabin Controls This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive systems, contributing to the development of advanced powertrain and thermal management solutions that enhance vehicle efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Bench and Vehicle Evaluations to assess system performance and identify calibration opportunities.
Perform Software Calibration of Powertrain and Thermal Systems, including Transmission Systems, Electrical Motor Inverters, Batteries, Energy Management, Thermal Management Systems, and Cabin Controls.
Support various aspects of Vehicle and Powertrain Controller Software Calibration Development.
Plan calibration activities and vehicle evaluations to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Set up and maintain calibration tools and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure calibration processes align with project requirements and technical standards.
Document calibration procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Manage calibration projects within predefined budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience
Proven experience in vehicle or powertrain calibration, preferably in an automotive environment.
Strong understanding of powertrain systems, thermal management, and vehicle control modules.
Proficiency with calibration tools and software such as INCA, CANape, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to plan and organize calibration activities effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
