We are growing and looking for a Project Engineer to join our AutoStore team in Cincinnati, OH.
This role works closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Site Managers to ensure each AutoStore project is designed accurately, engineered efficiently, and installed smoothly.

Your tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • System design support — Assist Sales with final AutoStore system design, including grid layouts and associated equipment.
  • Technical review — Review work platforms, workstations, and grid configurations to ensure feasibility and compliance.
  • Vendor recommendations — Advise Project Managers on vendor selection based on technical fit and project needs.
  • Drawing preparation — Provide required drawings for permitting and installation.
  • Prototype development — Create prototypes to improve installation efficiency for future projects.
  • Installation guidance — Deliver installation drawings and technical instructions to Site Managers.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration — Work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment across design, installation, and commissioning.

Your profile

Your Profile

  • Mechanical engineering background or electrical engineering background preferred.
  • Experience with automation systems, intralogistics, or ASRS solutions is a plus.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and create installation documentation.
  • Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced project environments.
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, and proactive in identifying design or installation improvements.
  • Willingness to collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, and Site Managers across regions.
