Description

The Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, assisting with scheduling, documentation, procurement, and subcontractor management to ensure successful delivery. This role provides hands-on exposure to all phases of construction and is an excellent entry point for individuals interested in building a career in construction management. Erie Affiliates frequently completes projects for NASA, the Department of Interior (DOI), the Department of Defense (DOD), and major airport facilities, offering unique opportunities to gain experience on high-profile government and aeronautical projects.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist with project planning, coordination, and execution from preconstruction through closeout.Support project documentation including contracts, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Help prepare bid packages and ensure timely submission of required documents.Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards.Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and logs for project tracking.Assist in procurement of materials and equipment.Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues and maintain smooth project delivery.Required SkillsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, or project management software a plus (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.0–2 years of construction or related experience (internship or co-op experience a plus).Ability to pass security background checks.Full-time roleCompetitive salary with growth opportunitiesHands-on experience with federal, institutional, and commercial construction projectsHow to ApplyPlease send your resume to tconnor@erieaff.comSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesConstructionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Erie Affiliates, Inc. by 2xGet notified about new Project Engineer jobs in Cleveland, OH .#J-18808-Ljbffr
