Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects
- Assist with subcontractor management, procurement, and project buyout activities
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Track project schedules and assist with project reporting and cost control efforts
- Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Conduct project site visits and assist with field coordination activities
- Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining budget and schedule objectives
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Assist with project closeout, punch list management, and turnover documentation
- Develop strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade contractors
- Support project teams in delivering exceptional customer service and project outcomes

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in commercial construction, internships, co-ops, or construction project support roles
- Experience or exposure to healthcare, higher education, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or other large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of construction documents, project coordination, and construction processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with scheduling, cost controls, estimating, subcontractor coordination, or managing portions of a project scope is a plus
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced construction professionals
- Team-focused personality with strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to build a long-term career in construction management
- Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in advancing into future Project Manager positions
