Project Engineer – Combat Vehicle Systems
Position Summary
The Project Engineer will lead and manage complex engineering projects supporting combat vehicle systems. This position is responsible for coordinating engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and vehicle-level disciplines while ensuring technical, schedule, budget, and customer requirements are achieved.
The Project Engineer will support the integration of a weapon system onto a vehicle platform, leading technical activities across multiple engineering teams and suppliers. Responsibilities include breaking down technical requirements, estimating labor, coordinating proposals and evaluations, managing subcontractor activities, tracking cost and schedule, and presenting project status, risks, budgets, and technical information to U.S. Government customers and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering background with proven technical project management experience and an understanding of complex electro-mechanical and vehicle systems.
