SummaryOur North County San Diego -based client is a highly sought after commercial general contracting company with exponential growth and exciting opportunities. They are seeking a Project Engineer (PE) or Jr. Project Manager to assist with current projects on hand, as well as future ones. You must be an accountable project engineer who will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsMonitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specificationsInteract daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the fieldPerform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project statusAssign responsibilities and mentor project teamCooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical supportReview engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actionsQualifications & RequirementsBS Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent requiredProven working experience as a Project EngineerStrong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft ProjectExcellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCADFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standardsAbility to work with multiple discipline projectsProject management and supervision skillsDecision-making ability and leadership skillsTime management and organization skillsExperience with BIM or Revit and LEED Accreditation a plusMust be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining teamwork and positive attitude3-4 years of experience in a similar role requiredConstruction: 2-4 yearsEmployment Type: Full timeLocation: Carlsbad, CA#J-18808-Ljbffr
