Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to gain hands-on project management exposure while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.

A reputable general contractor with a diverse portfolio of commercial, light industrial, multifamily, and municipal projects throughout the Chicago market.

Description

• Process RFIs and submittals
• Assist with project scheduling and documentation
• Support procurement and material tracking
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants
• Maintain project records and reports
• Assist with project closeout activities

Profile

• 1-4 years of experience with a general contractor
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
