Project Engineer/Construction Consultant

Location: Auburn Hills, MI | Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time | Immediate Start
Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential to extend through March 2027

An established law firm in Auburn Hills is seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Construction Consultant to provide technical and industry expertise in support of a complex legal project. This is an onsite contract opportunity for a professional with experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, particularly major bridge or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical insight and industry expertise related to large-scale construction projects.
• Review and interpret technical project documents, engineering materials, plans, reports, and project records.
• Help attorneys understand and evaluate complex construction and engineering-related information.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and office staff to identify relevant facts and issues within project documentation.
• Assist with organizing and analyzing large volumes of project-related materials.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Construction Manager, or similar professional.
• Experience working on large-scale, complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, engineering concepts, and project management.
• Experience with bridge, transportation, civil infrastructure, or other major public/private construction projects strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and other professionals.
• Must be available to work full-time onsite in Auburn Hills, MI.
