This is an opportunity for someone early in their career, including a recent graduate with a degree in Construction Management or a related field, to gain practical experience across the full project lifecycle.You'll work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, architects, designers, trade partners, vendors, and clients to help move projects from planning through completion. You'll gain hands-on experience with drawings, budgets, procurement, field coordination, change management, scheduling, and closeout.Pinemar has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in 2024, 2025, and 2026, reflecting our commitment to building an exceptional team as well as exceptional homes.What You'll DoSupport Project Managers with custom residential construction and major renovationsReview architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentationManage RFIs, submittals, selections, documentation, and project correspondenceAssist with subcontractor bidding, scope review, and buyoutPrepare and maintain purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentationTrack long-lead materials, selections, and procurement requirementsAssist with project budgets, committed costs, allowances, and cost forecastingPrepare and document change orders accurately and promptlyCoordinate information between the field, Project Manager, architect, designer, and trade partnersMaintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentationParticipate in project meetings and follow through on action itemsIdentify conflicts, missing information, and potential issues before they affect the fieldSupport scheduling and short-term project planningAssist with punch lists, turnover, and closeout documentationVisit jobsites regularly to understand project progress and field conditionsWhat We're Looking For0-5 years of experience in construction, project engineering, assistant project management, estimating, or a related fieldA degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on construction experienceRecent graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to applyAbility to read and understand architectural and construction drawingsStrong organization and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfort working with budgets, numbers, and detailed documentationAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitmentsProfessional communication with construction professionals, architects, designers, trade partners, and clientsInterest in how buildings are designed and constructedExperience with custom residential construction or major renovations is a plusWhat Success Looks LikeIn your first year, you'll be successful when you:Keep project information accurate, organized, and currentConsistently meet commitments and deadlinesIdentify coordination issues before they become field problemsDevelop a strong understanding of drawings, scope, budgets, and project costsBuild strong working relationships with Superintendents, trade partners, architects, and designersCommunicate proactively and professionallyTake increasing ownership of project responsibilitiesThe goal is progression.
