Job Overview Corning is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Division Engineering team in Wilmington, NC. This role provides technical leadership and execution support for manufacturing and engineering projects that improve process readiness, scale‑up, and operational performance.Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and execution support for manufacturing and engineering projects.Improve process readiness, scale‑up, and operational performance.Qualifications BS or MS in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, or Ceramic Engineering or related discipline.3–5+ years of engineering or related technical experience.Strong problem‑solving, project management, and financial analysis skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications 3+ years manufacturing experience.2+ years program/project management experience.Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.Project management certification.Lean manufacturing training.Travel 15–20% within North America; possible international travel depending on assignment.Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $97,542.00 – $134,121.00 for full‑time status.
