Assistant Project Manager
Our client is a well-established General Contractor and Construction Manager with more than 35 years of experience delivering healthcare, education, hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects throughout New England. With annual revenues exceeding $100M, the company has built its reputation on strong client relationships, collaborative project delivery, and a large volume of repeat business.
Job Description
- Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration
- Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Coordinate activities between subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
- Support procurement efforts, material tracking, and project scheduling activities
- Maintain project logs and ensure accurate record keeping
- Participate in project meetings and help drive action items to completion
- Assist with project reporting, closeout documentation, and turnover processes
- Support project teams in maintaining schedule, quality, and client expectations

The Successful Applicant
- 1-2+ years of construction experience required
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Candidates from subcontractor backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Procore and/or Bluebeam preferred but not required
