Project Engineer

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Ensure appropriate stakeholder management, preliminary determination of regulatory requirements, and completion of front-end engineering and designs, cost estimates, and project execution strategies.
• Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates, while appropriately defining risks, uncertainties, and likelihood for those schedules and cost estimates.
• Develop charters for Rough Order of Magnitude to Class 3 scope supported by estimates and schedules to meet the needs of various sponsors. Charters define critical information, specific to each project to be used by executive management to make decisions.
• Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 0 years of related experience in oil and gas engineering, operations, project management, and/or project development.
• Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between all team members.
• Project Management skills to prepare projects to move from development to sanction/execution.
• Ability to work independently and self-prioritize and handle changing priorities and work tasks.
