DeepOcean has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis located in Houston, TX.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering and operations teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to offshore projects and make a significant impact in the field.Duties and responsibilitiesParticipate in engineering, planning, and execution of subsea projectsCollaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring effective communication and coordination.Perform sea fastening calculations, rigging design, and lift plansReview risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational safety and compliance with industry standards.Assist in vessel mobilization and offshore operationTendering activities and evaluation of subsea projectsParticipate in development of equipment and installation methodsCreate new designs/fabrication of tools/structures to enhance operational performanceCommunicate with clients and sub-contractorsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Liaise with HSEQS to ensure all project/tender specific HSEQS requirements are achievedRequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Marine/Ocean, or related field)3-8 years of relevant experienceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify innovative solutions.Experience with subsea construction and offshore operationsProfessional and proactive attitudeTeamworkTime ManagementTechnical abilityFlexible and innovative approach to changes and challengesTake initiative and personal responsibilityGood verbal and written communication in EnglishCreative approach with attention to detailHSEQSAll Company employees whether permanent or temporary personnel, regardless of location, are responsible for complying with the Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Security procedures of the CompanyIn all phases of operations, due consideration shall be given to the safety and occupational health of personnel, the environment and Company/Client/Third Party assetsWe can offerCompetitive terms.Fun and team-oriented work environment.Opportunities to develop in a safe environment.Exciting, challenging and rewarding work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
