Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world‑class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.You will work on cutting‑edge projects and shape future technology solutions. As a Project Engineer II at Honeywell, you will design, implement, and manage complex systems, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency.You will work out of Torrance, CA on a Hybrid work schedule. No Relocation offered.ResponsibilitiesLead the procurement and tracking of system hardware to support the development and qualification test campaignCoordinate and manage the buyers, planners, government stores, hardware coordinators, and other Integrated Supply Chain functionsCreate and maintain a detailed hardware tracking scheduleBe the “Squeaky Wheel” and keep pressure on other groups to deliver to the scheduleDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersSupport system architecture tradesSupport verification plan development and execution including formal qualificationProject schedule and milestone development/managementProject estimation and budget preparation based on verification planRisk/opportunity development and managementProject execution and performance managementQualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics2 years of related engineering experience (post‑graduate education can substitute for work experience)Ability to drive small teams (1‑3 subject matter experts) to execute technical engineering tasksProven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budgetStrong leadership and project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organization and attention to detailDesirable Experience2 years of systems or project engineering experience in the aerospace industryExperience with procurement or other supply chain functionsSpecific experience in any of the following is a major differentiator: supply chain, hardware management, environmental control systems, vapor cycle systems, air cycle systems, thermal management systems, fuel tank inerting systems, system architecture, turbomachines, heat exchangers, power electronics, or controlsCreate relevant action plans that bring value to our internal or external customersProject management experience particularly familiarity with Earned Value Management and Integrated Master SchedulesTest experience including developing test plans, writing test procedures, overseeing test execution, experience with acceptance test procedures, experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD 810 environmental testingIndividuals who are self‑motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by eventsAbility to lead small teams to execute requirements validation and verification activitiesAbility to convey complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audienceExcellent communication skills to all audiencesMicrosoft Office masteryDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.Posting Date: 6/30/2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
