Project Engineer III - WaterWastewater Department

Description CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nations Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. CPH has an opening for the following position Project Engineer III - WaterWastewater. The hiring bonus for the selected candidate is up to $5000.

Responsibilities • Lead the design development and implementation of engineering solutions for projects. • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. • Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion. • Leading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline lift station and WaterWastewater treatment system components. • Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed. • Ensures that all aspects of the projects safety comply with regulations and quality standards. • Prepares and maintains project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates. • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.

Requirements • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software platforms. • AutoCAD experience is a plus. • Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgment. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets. • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines. • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.

Education and Experience • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Civil or Environmental. • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of engineering principles in one or more of the following: pipeline lift station, WaterWastewater treatment design. • P.E. required.
