Project Engineer Internship- Fall 2026,Boston MA, US,US6981,Early career,Construction,Internship,Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetup initial contracts and project information in PMIS. Receive review forward and track status of submittals. Initiate prepare review track and distribute RFIs. Assist in management of project documentation organization. Assist in management of project permit process. Assist in preparations of bid packages and procurement. Update construction schedule based on project team input Trade Contractor progress and material delivery. Assist in tracking trade contractor installation progress and quality control. Ensure that Skanska and its sub-contractors have a proper QAQC program document and are prosecuting it accordingly. Change management systems including soliciting receiving reviewing and preparing quotations and change orders with project managers. Track and inspect material deliveries. Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and enforce IFE and Care for Life program on projects with the project team. Learn and support the Skanska Culture and way of working and executing projects. As a Project Engineer on an active construction site this position requires regular and consistent on-site attendance to monitor and observe construction operations and participate in scheduled and ad hoc production safety and supervisory meetings.
