About the role
At Balfour Beatty Power Transmission & Distribution, we''re delivering the infrastructure needed to support the UK''s evolving energy network. We''re looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of major power transmission and underground cabling projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex cabling works, working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, site teams and supply chain partners to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
While our immediate focus is within the Lincolnshire and Peterborough region, you''ll also have the opportunity to support projects across our wider UK Power T&D portfolio, helping to deliver critical infrastructure that will power the UK''s future.
What you'll be doing
As Project Engineer, you''ll support the planning, coordination and delivery of cabling and power infrastructure works from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Balfour Beatty's Power Transmission & Distribution teams work with regional, national and international electricity network owners and operators to provide technical engineering solutions across the full spectrum of the electricity grid, including overhead lines, cabling, substations and distribution networks.
From scoping and feasibility, to design, construction and on-going maintenance, our in-house experts, flexible resources and industry-leading innovations support customers in the development of some of the UK's most ambitious power transmission and distribution projects.
