Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will support the project team with submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, procurement, scheduling, and project documentation. The role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and owners to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget, while providing strong opportunities for growth into a Project Manager role.

Description

• Assist in planning and managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any issues to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
• Conduct site visits to oversee progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the construction team to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions.
• Support communication between stakeholders to align on project objectives and updates.
• Track and report project performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Profile

A successful Project Engineer should have:

• Experience in construction project coordination and management.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical and logistical challenges.
