Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan, schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Company Product Engineering, Sourcing, and Engineering sub-contractors.
  • Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline and serve as a best practice/quality resource.
  • Contribute towards strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within the area of responsibility.
  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
  • Own the engineering execution of BOP-scoped projects from contract signature until the end of company contractual obligations.
  • Manage a cross-functional Engineering team to master the risks and opportunities of the contract.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to Project Management and company's internal engineering teams.
  • Review customer specifications and communicate contract and project requirements to all design functions.
  • Evaluate financial/schedule impact of customer requested scope changes. Provide technical support to Engineering, Sourcing, Vendors, and Installation teams to ensure equipment meets all customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Enforce quality procedures and participate in their improvement. Assure experience feedback by capturing issues (Lessons Learned).
  • Serve as Senior Project Engineering Manager, when assigned, to lead and facilitate a total project solution across all product lines.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or any other related STEM program from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum of 6 years of related industry experience with increasing responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of Turbo machinery, generator, electrical, controls, and/or Power Plant Accessory systems and equipment.
  • Expertise in one of the disciplines (Mechanical/Electrical/Process).
