Project Engineer - Mechanical Construction (HVAC/Plumbing)
Join a well-established mechanical contractor in Monmouth County known for delivering high-quality HVAC and plumbing projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support project execution through submittals, RFIs, procurement tracking, and document control
* Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, vendors, and clients to maintain schedules and accuracy
* Review and process materials, pricing, and documentation within project systems (ACC)
* Assist with site meetings, closeout documentation, and project updates
Required Skills & Experience:
* 0-2+ years in mechanical construction or relevant internships
* Familiarity with HVAC/plumbing systems and blueprint reading
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
* Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
* Exposure to AIA documentation, submittals, and RFI processes
Compensation & Benefits:
* $32-40/hour (non-exempt)
