We are seeking an individual who has experience with engineering product development processes and best practices. This candidate will have a passion for standards, details, and consistent design and documentation methods. Using an internal customer perspective will coordinate cross-functional teams of impacted stakeholders and perform project management to completion both on time and within budget. Develop evaluation methods to assess process strengths and identify areas for improvement. Work cross functionally to develop problem statements and align requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation and develop new processes. Manage CFTs (Cross-Functional Teams) with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities often in multiple locations. Assist in the development of the team, including skills, capabilities, domain knowledge, technical ownership, and hiring.
Expected minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelors degree or 3 years and a related experience with CAD preferably Siemens NX or PTC Creo from part and assembly modeling to on-model annotations and TDP (Technical Data Packages) to part fabrication and inspection. Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
Skills in Excel is a must, but demonstrable capability with QuickBase, SharePoint, Power BI, iPLM (Industry-Process Lifecycle Management), SAP, Matlab, or other programming languages is a plus. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Strong leadership skills with applicable experience. Strong influencing, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills.
Process knowledge in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Other experience that would prove highly valuable in Mechanical Engineering.
