Project Engineer Heavy Civil / Horizontal Directional Drilling
Location: Miami, FL (On-Site)
Help Deliver a Landmark Underground Pipeline Project
We're looking for a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of a major trenchless pipeline installation project in the Miami area. Working closely with Project Managers and field leadership, you'll help coordinate engineering, construction activities, scheduling, documentation, and project controls throughout the lifecycle of this multi-year infrastructure project.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical engineering and construction execution.
What You'll Do
Support day-to-day management of a major HDD pipeline project.
Coordinate engineering documents, RFIs, submittals, and technical reviews.
Track project schedules, budgets, and production progress.
Assist with procurement of materials and equipment.
Work closely with field personnel to resolve technical issues.
Review drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
Participate in planning meetings and project coordination.
Assist with quality assurance and safety initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or related discipline.
2 6 years of construction or infrastructure project experience.
Experience supporting heavy civil, utility, marine, pipeline, or industrial construction projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; scheduling software experience is a plus.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Willingness to work on-site in the Miami area.
