Project Engineer/Municipal
Responsibilities:
- * Design municipal projects using Civil 3D to successfully complete site, grading, drainage, and stormwater projects within established budgets and deadlines.
- * Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments.
- * Assist with proposal development for professional services.
- * Coordinate with public and private utilities, as well as other disciplines.
- * Perform and review hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
- * Prepare and review cost estimates for accuracy and completeness of scope.
- * Assist Project Manager with tracking project budget and schedules.
- * Attend meetings with municipal stakeholders and present components of assignments.
- * Perform field investigations/site visits, as needed.
- Qualifications:
- * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering is required.
- * 5+ years of related engineering experience, preferably with municipal projects is required.
- * EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification required;Professional Engineer license or working towards licensure is preferred.
- * Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion.
- * Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
- * Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
