We're creating future‑ready solutions, focusing on resiliency and urgency through our 21st Century Security© vision.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate cross‑functional workshops with support teams (operations, supply chain, quality, etc.) to document current‑state and future‑state processes (VSM/PFD)Regularly engage with internal stakeholders to understand their analysis needsBuild, validate, and maintain discrete event simulation (DES) models of manufacturing processes and supply chain flowsDeploy and support use of modeling and simulation to the facility levelConduct “what if” scenarios, and identify capacity constraints and bottlenecksPresent findings, recommendations, and trade‑offs to stakeholders and senior leadershipWork closely with production leadership to provide actionable insightsExpect to travel to internal and external production facilities / suppliers up to 25%Preferred Candidate LocationsDenver, COKing of Prussia/Valley Forge, PARocket City USA: Huntsville/Courtland, ALBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM field3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or operations modelingStrong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including process mappingUS Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance; must pass drug and background checksNo clearance is required to apply, nor prior to start.Desired SkillsMaster's DegreeExperience developing process flow diagrams and analyzing production systemsHands‑on experience with discrete event simulation tools (e.g., Simio, Process Simulator, Arena, FlexSim)Experience working across multiple facilities or with external suppliersFamiliarity with production planning, supply chain modeling, or capacity analysisKnowledge of statistical analysis and optimization techniquesProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or similar)Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environmentAbility to facilitate structured discussions and extract process knowledge from diverse teamsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsEffective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and stakeholdersExceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, stakeholders, and executivesBenefits of EmploymentOur employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually.Medical, Dental, VisionLife Insurance, Short‑Term Disability, Long‑Term Disability401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education AssistanceParental Leave, Paid Time Off, HolidaysSecurity Clearance StatementThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
