Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Engineer who is ready to make an impact in the construction industry. This permanent role is integral to our team, providing technical expertise, leadership, and support to our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management and execution of projects, including the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, quality control, and construction management. This role will require a keen understanding of the construction process, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Prepare, review, and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
3. Handle submittals and change orders, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Oversee construction management, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds the required quality standards.
6. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure that all project objectives are met.
7. Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process, using problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
8. Provide regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management and engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including submittals, change orders, and quality control procedures.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
8. A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
9. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
