Project Engineer

We're partnering with a civil construction firm to conduct a search for an experienced Project Engineer. If you have experience supporting construction projects and want to grow your career into Project Management or Estimating, this could be a great opportunity.

Position Details:

Title: Project Engineer

Location: Saratoga, NY office with regional project site visits (occasional overnight travel may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and Estimators through all phases of projects, from preconstruction to closeout
• Assist with project bidding, subcontractor scoping, quantity takeoffs, and estimating activities
• Coordinate communications between owners, contractors, and subcontractors
• Implement and maintain project control systems, document management, and reporting
• Track project milestones, status updates, and assist with scheduling
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with safety, staffing, and equipment requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
• Eagerness to grow into Project Management or Estimating roles

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $75,000-$90,000 range

• Bonus potential based on individual and company performance
