    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively promote and reinforce the safety culture across all phases of project execution.
    • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and develop competitive, detailed proposals for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services.
    • Lead project teams through conceptual design, procurement, and construction support for substation, distribution, and transmission line projects, with a primary focus on 69kV and above.
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes for services and EPC work.
    • Interface adeptly with clients, external stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and project success.
    • Mentor and train engineers assigned to active projects, providing day-to-day technical oversight, performance feedback, and skill development especially in PLS-CADD and related tools.
    • Develop and deliver internal training content, including guides on conductor/insulator selection, foundation design, and use of engineering software.
    • Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the experience gap between junior entry-level engineers and seasoned project leads.

    Minimum of 8 years of experience, ideally looking for 10+ years

    • Structural engineer as most of the work is structural focused.
    • PLS-CADD is a MUST have, need to have experience doing modeling in this tool and really rate themselves 8/10 or higher. They must be willing to still be doing PLS-CADD work, as well as leading teams. Need to be technical as they will be a doer and a leader
    • Consulting firm background is a must have experience either EPC or services projects or both
    • PE is preferred, but not required
    • Primarily structural (civil) engineering approximately 90% of the role covering foundations, framing (steel, concrete, wood), and materials.
    • Must being experience with 69KV and higher
