    Opportunity
    As the Underground Transmission Line Project Engineering Manager, you will:

    • Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians

    • Manage diverse and complex projects within design services and EPC programs

    • Oversee design quality, budgets, and schedules

    • Support client interaction, proposals, and business development

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across disciplines

    • Coordinate directly with clients on project changes

    • Review and coordinate engineering work, serving as engineer of record when required

    • Build strong relationships with project leaders, design teams, and support staff

    • Translate client interests into actionable project strategies

    • Contribute to business development and proposal activities

    • Travel occasionally for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings

    • Mentor and guide team members while upholding quality standards

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience managing EPC or design services underground transmission line projects for U.S. investor-owned utilities

    • Strong background in high-voltage underground transmission line design, lifecycle management, and equipment specifications

    • Proficiency in developing plan and profile drawings; working knowledge of CYMCAP and Pull-Planner

    • Advanced understanding of engineering principles, design guides, and industry standards

    • Experience with interdisciplinary project coordination, procurement, permitting, and construction support

    • Familiarity with proposal development and engineering estimates

    • Excellent communication and client engagement skills

    • P.E. license highly preferred

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program

    • 8+ years of relevant experience

    • Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR search, as applicable)

    Certifications
    Professional registration/licensure required in home office country or active pursuit of licensure. Additional licenses may be needed based on assignment location.
